Product Update β July 13, 2019
Hey there Dash Community!
Iβve gotten some feedback that while the weekly product updates are generally helpful and interesting, some of them get a little too tech-y and thus can be a bit hard to follow at times. π€ Message received β so going forward, Iβm going to do my best to add some human-readable context to the more technical items.
As always, please feel free to send me any questions you have on any of the updates. This will help me improve the updates for the whole community by pointing out what doesnβt resonate or make sense (as well as give me a chance to get to know more of you!).
So, with that β hereβs whatβs been going on at Dash Core Group this past week.
π‘ More work on Query Syntax for Dash Platform. Provides developers with an easier way to access data stored on Drive.
π΄ββοΈ More work on State Transition Concurrency for Dash Platform. Ensures that consensus is reached among quorums on the correct order of state transitions received.
π Additional review and discussion of Identities DIP. Outlines the design of the implementation of Identities on the blockchain, planned for Dash Core 1.0.
π©βπ» A couple of bug fixes on DashPay, and implemented new UI designs for the transaction cards.
π Made a few optimizations on DashWallet (iOS and Android) in support of Dash Core v0.14.
π¨ Completed new UI for the PIN and Welcome screens as part of the larger UI redesign effort for DashWallet.
πΎ Added Send Contact Request, Accept Contact and View Contacts to DashWallet Android for Evolution, as well as Lock Menu Items (nearer term).
