Dash Wallet App Rolls Out An Update For iOS

We’re pleased to announce that it has begun to roll out an exciting new addition to the official Dash Wallet mobile app. All iOS users can now easily search for and locate nearby merchants that accept Dash as payment and discover nearby ATMs where they can easily buy and sell Dash.

This is the first location-based feature that has been implemented in the official Dash Wallet for iOS. 

This feature allows users to effortlessly explore and utilize the decentralized payment network’s expansive ecosystem natively within the official wallet app. It provides real-world utility to the Dash network and value to our partners and their userbase as well.

The US merchants supported in this initial release are all DashDirect locations and about 80 Venezuela locations that accept Dash via CryptoBuyer, one of the major POS systems we are integrated within that region. For ATMs, CoinFlip is the first partner to be integrated at launch.

The Explore Dash feature was released on Android last year and on iOS devices starting from today on version 6.1.
